Atlantis The Royal: displays and AV.

Read a published Dubai project. Separate what is disclosed from what your own installation still needs. Then prepare an evidence request register.

Concept diagram of three project areas; not a resort site plan.

A / Poolside / exterior

Disclosed by the manufacturer

Samsung reports outdoor LED signage at the Ceviche Bar beside the infinity pool.

Documents to gather for your project

The article does not supply a drawing of the complete display installation, an exposure log or the conditions of a readability test. A photograph cannot establish the display’s ventilation inlet, equipment-service access or suitability of a different product.

For your project

Treat exterior exposure as a separate evidence task. If your display is placed behind glazing, the assembly has changed again: request an installation cross-section drawing showing the display, glazing and ventilation path, plus manufacturer confirmation for that proposed assembly. A city temperature reading does not measure the air temperature at the display’s ventilation inlet.

B / Meeting room

Disclosed by the manufacturer

Samsung describes Smart Signage in the resort’s meeting rooms.

Documents to gather for your project

That disclosure does not identify your room’s signal chain, participants, control workflow or acceptance results. Outdoor-display evidence does not answer a room-AV question.

For your project

Start with people and the complete signal path. Test a visiting presenter and a remote participant, not just a display’s demo loop. Keep the content-language review alongside the technical demonstration.

C / Guest-room display

Disclosed by the manufacturer

Samsung reports hospitality displays in the resort’s guest rooms.

Documents to gather for your project

The publication does not provide a reusable privacy, content-reset or network-acceptance procedure for your property. A product category is not an operating policy.

For your project

Follow the guest journey from arrival to checkout. Keep content, IT and housekeeping responsibilities distinct; ask for a demonstration that shows what remains after the room changes guest.

Outdoor exposure and indoor room requirements

For a UAE exterior, the official national climate overview makes sun and humid-summer questions relevant; it does not measure a particular site. An inland outdoor installation, a coastal outdoor installation and a display behind entrance glazing need separate site observations. For an indoor room, the useful question may shift to seating, signal paths or content reset. Use the climate material as context and the actual project record as evidence.

Prepare an LG showroom demonstration

LG’s 2 March 2023 Dubai showroom announcement describes themed QSR and meeting-room areas. This is a demonstration resource, not proof of your proposed installation. Before a demonstration, send your content sample, viewing position, room workflow and unresolved configuration questions; afterwards record which conditions were reproduced and which were not. Confirm current visiting arrangements with the showroom operator.

Keep the Arabic and English task identical.

Compare the instruction, destination, urgency and reference in both versions. Rehearse a mixed reference such as G-01, punctuation and the smallest essential text on the proposed system. Record the reading result from the actual viewing position.

YOUR PROJECT / REQUESTS BEFORE SPECIFICATIONS

Organize the evidence your project needs.

Enter your project reference and document requests. “Received” records a document’s arrival; review it with the responsible project team. Files are created on this device and requests are not sent.

Your current record stays in this tab and follows you between Arabic and English using browser session storage. Export a local file to keep it after the session. Keep personal data out of the record.

01 Product & complete assembly

Identify the exact product, region, revision and complete assembly. Request manufacturer limits for that drawing, including glass or enclosure additions.

02 Site conditions

Request a dated exposure record: sun direction, shade, conditions at the display’s air inlet, dust/water exposure and service access. List the conditions to measure during the site visit.

03 Reading & language

Agree viewing positions and times, then test representative Arabic/English content in those conditions. Document the smallest essential line, not a publicity image.

04 Content & operating roles

Assign who approves bilingual guest messages and adjusts content after a day/evening readability review. Record the agreed rollback message.

05 Maintenance access

Ask facilities and the integrator for safe access, isolation, opening permissions and maintenance responsibilities for this specific assembly.

06 Failure & recovery

Request a failure/recovery demonstration with a responsible role and dated result. A rated component does not document system recovery.

REQUEST PLAN / NOT APPROVAL

What remains to be reviewed

6 items need follow-up.

A brief import preserves your notebook. An existing brief asks before appending; a pending import asks before replacement. Only the selected area is transferred. The complete JSON retains all three areas. If tab storage is unavailable, download the area-plan JSON and choose that file in the workbench’s local import panel.
