Integration handover records
The handover desk uses its own sessionStorage record for current-tab work across Arabic and English. Save on this device creates a localStorage copy. Clear requires confirmation and removes only these handover copies, leaving the notebook, evidence register and procurement brief intact. Import reads a JSON file locally and replaces the current checklist only after your choice. Document dates and results are supplied by you; file creation time is a separate export timestamp.
Current work and saved copies
The workbench uses sessionStorage to retain current work in this tab across Arabic and English. Save on this device creates a localStorage copy that may remain after you close the browser. Clear removes both workbench copies. The notebook and evidence desk each retain a separate current-tab record; their clear actions affect their own records.
Local file import and handover
A selected file is read on your device. An explicit handover creates a temporary field-record copy for the workbench. Append or dismiss removes that temporary copy. Clearing the notebook also clears its pending handover; clearing the evidence register leaves an existing pending handover intact. Existing brief values and appended observations are kept unless you choose to clear that brief.
Working on a shared computer
Keep personal data, credentials and confidential project material out of these tools. Clear saved work after use on a shared computer, and delete downloaded files when no longer needed. Browser settings may restrict storage or downloads: use the evidence desk’s file-content view to copy a record, and keep the page open while saving your work.
